Director of PNL Briefed and Set off of PNL Contingent to POMDA 2022

Lhokseumawe - Director of the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic (PNL) Ir. Rizal Syahyadi, ST., M.Eng.Sc accompanied by Vice Director for Academic, Student Affairs and Alumni Affairs Ir. Zamzami, S.T., M.Eng provided briefing and release to PNL athletes for the 2022 Regional Student Sports Week (POMDA) at the Administrative Central Building last Friday (30/09/2022).

The Director of PNL stated in his speech that it is essential always to keep the good name of the alma mater, to maintain sportsmanship, to maintain health, and always to be disciplined because discipline is the key to success.

"As athletes, you must be disciplined; you cannot stay up late or eat carelessly; I do not want athletes to wake up late; I entrust the name of PNL on your shoulders," Didi, as he is commonly known, said.

Didi also reminded all participants that if they do not follow the rules, PNL will take firm action against them.

"I'm firm because this is for your success as well as PNL, permission from parents to ask for their blessing to give the best for PNL," Didi explained.

Meanwhile, on the same occasion, Deputy Director I for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, hopes the entire PNL contingent will perform to the best of their abilities.

"I appreciate our athletes preparing to welcome POMDA," he said.

"We hope that all athletes are always optimistic about getting the best results and bringing the PNL name to the national arena and that students can compete cleanly," Zamzami continued.

As is known, POMDA 2022 will be held at UNIVERSITAS SAMUDRA Langsa on October 1 to 6, 2022.

The sports followed are Karate, Taekwondo, Pencak silat, and tennis.
