PNL Athletes Won several categories at POMDA 2022

Langsa - On the 35th anniversary of the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic (PNL), students once more made accomplishments, this time from the POMDA 2022 event held at Samudra University, Langsa.

On Friday, October 7, 2022, Ir. Zamzami, ST, M.Eng, Vice Director I for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni, delivered this good news.

"Alhamdulillah, on the 35th anniversary of PNL, our students gave a special gift by bringing 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals from the POMDA 2022 event," he said.

Additionally, Zamzami stated that this Pomda activity served as a platform for networking between Aceh's public and private universities and polytechnics as well as a place to develop the skills of Acehnese students.

The winner will be sent to the national competition, POMNAS, which will be held at Padang State University from November 17–26, 2022, he added.

"We hope that those who represent Aceh will uphold the honor of Aceh, especially their respective state universities or polytechnics in the national arena," Zamzami said closing.

The students who won medals in the 2022 POMDA event were Miftah Hulzannah 1st Place Kumite Class - 55 kg female from the Department of Commerce, Banking and Finance Study Program, Saqila via tamzura 1st place kumite class - 68 kg female from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Mechanical Technology Study Program, Muhammad Rangga Rizeyq 1st Place Kumite Class + 85 men from the Department of Commerce, Public Sector Accounting Study Program.

Then Kausar Khwarizmi 2nd Place in Kumite Class - 65 men from the Electrical Engineering Department of Energy Generation Engineering Technology Study Program, Maulidya Zulfina 3rd Place in Taekwondo Class - 46 women from the Commerce Department, Accounting Study Program, Faizil Syawal khan 3rd Place Pencak Silat A Men's Competition from the Engineering Department Chemistry Study Program Chemical Technology.
