PNL Students Got Medals in Taekwondo Championship

Lhokseumawe - Students from Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic (PNL) achieved another success, this time at the National Championship (Kejurnas) Region 1 Aceh Open Taekwondo IM Pangdam Cup, which was held at the Bale Meuseuraya Aceh Building in Banda Aceh City.

On Monday (10/31/2022), Vice Director for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Ir. Zamzami, ST., M.Eng, delivered the good news.

"Alhamdulillah, at the 35th anniversary, PNL students brought 1 gold medal and 1 silver medal from the Taekwondo National Championship in Banda Aceh," he explained.

Furthermore, Zamzami stated that the goal of holding this national championship was to produce future Indonesian athletes who would compete in national and international championships.

"This national championship took place from October 28 -30 last in Banda Aceh," he said

"We hope that in the future there will be more and more of our students who will achieve achievements and make our beloved PNL campus proud," concluded Zamzami.

The students who won medals at the Regional 1 Aceh Open Taekwondo National Championship IM Pangdam Cup were Hafidh Mudarakna from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Mechanical Technology Study Program, 1st Place in Class Poomsae Taegeuk 4, and Mifzal Haris from the ICT Department, Informatics Engineering Study Program, 2nd Place in Class Poomsae Taegeuk 3.
