JTE PNL Held Public Lecture

Lhokseumawe - With the theme "Global Trend, Competitiveness, and Electrical Engineering Opportunities in Industry 4.0," the Electrical Engineering Department of the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic (JTE-PNL) again held a Public Lecture at the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic Auditorium Building on Tuesday (08/11/2022) ) yesterday.

In his remarks, the Director of PNL PNL Ir. Rizal Syahyadi, M.Eng, S.c, said that currently, PNL is required to prepare graduates who are competent and able to compete.

                                      

"We are required to prepare graduates who can compete in the industrial world and can think for complex problem solving, in addition to equipping students with certain soft skills and competencies," said Rizal Syahyadi.

 

Previously, Novi Quintena Rahayu, the moderator of the event and the Secretary of the Department of Electrical Engineering, said that the public lecture was attended by JTE students and teaching staff and was attended by four speakers from within and outside the region, namely Ir. Jaka Kirwanto IPU, Director of Operations and Production of PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda, M. Haikal, Manager of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Lhokseumawe, Ahmad Riyad Firdaus, Ph.D, Vice Director 1 of Batam State Polytechnic, and Khairil Syahrial, M.T., Aceh DPRA.

 

In his presentation, the speaker was M. Haiqal, an alumnus of the PNL electrical engineering department. Providing material about the current trend of electrical technology, which is wholly digitized in the industrial era 4.0 and some are even moving towards 5.0. he also conveyed tips and motivation for students to be successful. Soft skills are the principal capital.

 

Furthermore, Ahmad Riyad Firdaus conveyed the current model of implementing vocational learning which must prioritize the problem of base learning.

 

Furthermore, Khairil Syahrial conveyed the many natural potentials that exist in Aceh to be thought about and managed properly, especially for the future youth of Aceh.

 

Chairman of JTE Yassir, S.T., M.Eng. that the event took place very attractively; this was indicated by the many participants who asked questions in the question and answer session.

 

"Participants were very enthusiastic and asked many questions and answers from the speakers; I also thank the director, Vice directors, chief executive, and all those who have contributed to the success of the JTE public lectures in 2022," said Yassir.

 

"Especially for my students, I advise them to continue to hone their abilities and improve their mindset and attitude, one of which is to participate in positive activities such as public lectures," concluded Yassir
